Rotary dryers, also called rotary dryers or rotary drum dryers, have great versatility and drying capacity. For processing solid products, from fine powders to quasi-liquid slurries, products sensitive to high temperatures or in need of clean drying gases, the use of rotary dryers is ideal.

Versatility

Rotary dryers are ideal for a variety of industries, as they can handle everything from fine powders to near-liquid sludge.

Energy Efficiency

Our dryers optimize heat exchange and reduce fuel consumption for more efficient operation.

Adaptability

We offer dryers with direct and indirect heating, adapting them to the specific needs of each product.

Reliability

Our equipment is durable and reliable, which reduces maintenance and improves profitability for the customer.

Materials and processes

Our experience designing, building and operating rotary dryers allows us to tailor our solutions specifically for each process and material. Our rotary dryers can be used in the processing of the following products and materials:

  • Copper concentrate
  • Lithium carbonate
  • Lithium sulfate
  • Fish meal
  • Aggregates
  • Nitrates
  • Boratos

Types of rotary dryers

Enercom designs and manufactures two types of rotary dryers: rotary drum dryers that heat the air stream directly with combustion heat (direct fired dryers) and rotary drum dryers that heat the air stream through a heat exchanger (indirect convective dryers). Indirect convective dryers use heat exchangers, with steam, thermal fluid or gas.

Direct Exchange Rotary Dryers

Direct exchange rotary dryers introduce the combustion gases directly into the drum, allowing direct contact with the product to be dried. The design of the lifting fins optimizes heat exchange between the product and the gases, thus reducing fuel consumption.

Indirect Exchange Rotary Dryers

Indirect exchange rotary dryers are selected when the products must not be in contact with the flue gases. Enercom offers three types of drying air heating, adjusting to the specific requirements of each project:

  • Steam exchanger
  • Thermal fluid exchanger
  • Gas-gas exchanger
