Get to know our Convective Rotary Dryers
We are celebrating! We are already more than 1000 followers at Enercom SpA? We would like to take this opportunity to share with you one of our most emblematic and versatile products: the Convective Rotary Dryer. This equipment, composed of a rotating cylinder with internal lifters and propellers, allows the processing of wet products through the flow of hot air. Our solution is incredibly versatile and adapts to a wide variety of granular materials, such as aggregates, lithium carbonate, fishmeal, potassium salts and many more. In technical terms, the design of the Convective Rotary Dryer incorporates numerous elements that ensure optimal heat exchange. For example, the ??????? ???????™ are meticulously designed and modeled to ensure uniform interference of the hot air flow throughout the equipment, without short circuits. To achieve this, the design software considers the following key variables: ➡Geometry: double and single heights and bends. ➡Angulation: backward or forward format arrangement. ➡Quantity and perimeter arrangement, adapted to each product and capacity required. ➡Anti-stick elements. Get to know our Enercom baghouses
Continuing with the Gas Treatment systems, the Enercom Baghouse or ???????? is a very recurrent equipment in the capture of particulate material for multiple industries. The equipment uses a series of filtering bags and a compressed air system type ??? ????? to release the trapped particles. The retained material is recovered/discharged through the bottom of the equipment by means of a rotary valve. In Enercom SpA we have the competences for the design, fabrication and start-up of these, with considerations of volumetric capacity, selection of equipment materialities and its sleeves and the operation of the jetpulse system and rotary valves. The image shows assembly tests in the workshop, in which an easy and fast assembly in the field is ensured.
Material Drying and Cooling Optimization
Industrial drying processes achieve the desired moisture level by thermal transfer, but to achieve a stable result, humidity and product temperature must be controlled. The reasons for this are mainly based on:
Safe Storage/Packing Temperature: To protect people and handling.
Evaporative Cooling: Products naturally continue to dry out during cooling! This may affect their quality or condition.
To avoid these problems, assisted and controlled cooling is used. In the case of Lithium Carbonate, Enercom SpA’s Rotatube type conductive cooler is ideal, ensuring:
